However, this proposal is much smaller than the previous proposals that included hotels and far more amenties. If I recall correctly the previous plan for this spot was a huge Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - that would have been cool. Also, the KC area already has 4 other casinos, though they're all on the MO side. I wonder how this new one will affect them? I think this will be a decent addition to the Village West/Speedway area.
